This Is A William De Haas (1830-1880) Oil On Board Seascape That Was On The Uss Connecticut During The Great White Fleet In 1908-1909. The Painting Was That Of Admiral K. Nelis Usn. The Painting Is In The Original Protective Case That Was Mounted In The Ship. The Case Has No Glass And Has Some Bending Of The Boarder. The Painting Is In The Original Frame And Has An Overall Size Of 27″ X 34″ The Image Is Behind Glass And Measures 8×13.5 Inches. Signed Lower Right William F. De Hass 70
